Barcelona’s struggles with their financial issues are common knowledge by this point. Every Barça fan is sick of hearing about how they need to free up money before being able to register players, but unfortunately, this is still the case. As reported by Relevo, the start of the pre-season games is only two weeks away, and Barça only have 13 registered players.
As of today, Iñaki Peña, Sergi Roberto, Ronald Araújo, Marcos Alonso, Alejandro Balde, Iñigo Martínez and İlkay Gündogan are not registered. Vitor Roque is aware of the situation, which is that Barcelona must reduce their wage bill to be able to register players. It is not currently a concern, given that there is so much time left in the window and that the Catalan club are also confident that there will be enough outgoings to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Barcelona know they have to reduce their salary expenditure to be able to register any renewed and signed players. Joan Laporta has acknowledged that Clément Lenglet and Sergiño Dest’s departures are on track. If all goes to plan, then Barça should have sufficient time and money to sort out their issues.
