Barcelona may not be able to sign Diogo Dalot from Manchester United

Manchester United could stall Barcelona’s interest in signing Diogo Dalot, report AS.

The Blaugrana’s Héctor Bellerín is currently the only right-back at the club, who suffered an injury at the end of September. Having sent Sergiño Dest out on loan to AC Milan, Jules Koundé, Sergi Roberto and Ronald Araújo have been filling in on the right-hand side of Barcelona’s defensive line.

It is believed that the Catalan side are keen on signing Diogo Dalot from Manchester United to provide competition for Bellerín. However, the Portuguese international, whose deal with the Red Devils is set to expire in June 2023, has a clause in his contract that would allow Manchester United to extend it by one more season.

The 23-year-old has been a regular starter under Erik ten Hag and the Dutch manager would not like to lose him. It is therefore very unlikely that Dalot would join Barcelona anytime soon.
