Barcelona make contact for Atlético Madrid playmaker João Félix

Barcelona have approached Atlético Madrid about the possible transfer of João Félix in the last few hours of the transfer window, according to RAC1.

The deal for the Portuguese attacker would be a loan move. The Madrid club have already received the proposal and will have to respond tomorrow, the final day of the transfer window.

With Emerson moving Tottenham and Ilaix Moriba to RB Leipzig, Barça are not ruling out the possibility of signing a striker on August 31, according to Mundo Deportivo. Ronald Koeman wants to add to his attacking options.

Through Jorge Mendes, Barcelona have contacted Atlético Madrid about a loan deal for João Félix, however, Atlético do not want to negotiate, according to Rubén Uría of Goal.

The representative of the Portuguese player is Jorge Mendes, an agent who has an excellent relationship with Barcelona club president Joan Laporta and the directors of the Catalan club.

The Atlético Madrid player is currently recovering after undergoing surgery in July on an ankle problem.
