La Liga giants Barcelona have added themselves to the growing list of suitors for Borussia Mönchengladbach sensation Wael Mohya.
This comes amid the understanding that the Blaugrana have earmarked the youngster as a potential future signing.
Mohya, for his part, is a 17-year-old attacking midfielder/winger, who is widely considered one of the standout up-and-coming talents in his home country of Germany.
Despite his tender years, the starlet is already a regular in the senior setup of the aforementioned Borussia Mönchengladbach, with 11 appearances to his name thus far this term.
His haul of three goals and an assist also recently gave rise to a first-ever senior Germany call-up.
And as alluded to above, such tremendous growth on Mohya’s part does not appear to have gone unnoticed in La Liga… As per a report from Fichajes, citing transfer insider Ekrem Konur:
‘His level of play is attracting interest from various parts of Europe, with FC Barcelona being the latest to join the race. The Catalan club are one of the clubs closely monitoring Wael Mohya.’
