According to journalist Pedro Almeida, Barcelona manager Xavi is interested in signing Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcántara.
Despite having plenty of options in midfield, with the likes of Sergio Busquets, Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, Nico and Gavi, Xavi would like to have Thiago, who he knows well from his time as a player at the Catalan club.
Signing Thiago (30) would not be as easy as signing Daniel Alves. The Spanish international is under contract until 2024 and Liverpool could make it difficult for him to leave Anfield.
