Barcelona are facing something of a disciplinary dilemma as they head into their Champions League Quarter-final first-leg clash away to PSG on Wednesday night.
As reported in Diario Sport today, four of Barcelona’s starters and three others who are around the first team are in danger of suspension if they receive yellow cards in the clash in Paris.
The players in question are defenders Ronald Araújo and Andreas Christensen, midfielders Frenkie de Jong and Sergi Roberto and forwards João Félix, Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres.
Should any of these players receive a yellow card on Wednesday night it would mean missing the return leg in Montjuïc the following Tuesday.
This presents an interesting dilemma for Barça, who will have to strike a fine balance between caution and aggression, especially in Araújo’s case, as he is likely to face Mbappe on the right side of defence if he plays.
