Atlético Madrid trained on Monday morning ahead of Tuesday’s last-16 Champions League clash with Liverpool without injured players João Félix and Héctor Herrera, according to Mundo Deportivo. Diego Simeone’s side has been hit hard in recent weeks with injuries to regular starters including, Kieran Trippier, José María Giménez, Álvaro Morata and Diego Costa. Trippier will miss Tuesday’s first leg tie at the Wanda Metropolitano having undergone surgery on his groin, however Giménez and Morata are expected to feature.
