Atlético Madrid travel to Liverpool on Wednesday for their last-16 Champions League second leg tie at Anfield with a 1-0 lead, just like they did 10 years ago. Back in 2010, both teams faced off in the Europa League. Atlético travelled to England with a 1-0 lead from a Diego Forlan goal in Madrid. Liverpool went 2-0 up in the second leg but a 117th minute Forlan goal in extra-time saw Atleti advance to the final on away goals.

The men from Madrid were kitted out in black at Anfield that night and they’ll wear the same colour on Wednesday. The club has decided not to wear their blue away strip, preferring to go with the colour that sent them on to win the Europa League final a decade ago. They went on to beat Fulham 2-1 in the final.
