Barcelona will sell Croatian international Ivan Rakitic in the summer, according to Catalan media channel Esport3. The 31-year-old has featured 21 times this season, making just 10 starts. In August, there was the chance to join PSG and in the winter transfer window, an opportunity to join Juventus arose, however it was always his intention to stay with the Catalan club. The midfielder hasn’t featured in many of the club’s bigger games this season, only making an appearance in the first El Clásico in December.

Former Sevilla star Rakitic has failed to score this season and has seen less game time due to the signing of Frenkie de Jong from Ajax. He has one year remaining on his contract and turns 32 on Tuesday.
