Atlético Madrid have offered Valencia €20 million to sign French midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia from Valencia, according to Matteo Moretto via Fabrizio Romano.
The clubs are in advanced talks and a deal has already been reached, according to Cadena SER. Kondogbia will undergo a medical with Atlético on Sunday and is set to join Los Rojiblancos as a replacement for the departed Thomas Partey.
Atlético have the right to sign a Spain-based player outside of the transfer window after losing Partey to Arsenal in the final hours of the last transfer window, which offered them no time to find a replacement.
