According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna in an interview with Atlético Universe, there is a verbal agreement in place between Atlético Madrid and Marseille defensive midfielder Boubacar Kamara.
In March, Atlético were leading the race for his signature. Marseille’s most valuable player, worth €28.1 million, according to Olocip, sees his contract expire this June and he has not accepted a contract renewal offer from the Ligue 1 side.
AS report that Aston Villa, Manchester United, West Ham, Newcastle and Borussia Dortmund are all reportedly interested, but Atlético are favourites to land the 22-year-old.
