Arda Güler made wait for Real Madrid debut

Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid player returned to training at UCLA after their victory in their first pre-season match against AC Milan (3-2).

The narrow win was secured with two crucial goals from Fede Valverde and another from Vinícius Júnior. The game also saw Jude Bellingham make his debut for the La Liga side.

Marca report that the club’s new signing, Arda Güler, did not land at the Wallis Annenberg Stadium facilities to complete the session with the rest of his Madrid team-mates on Monday.

Güler, who missed the first friendly against the Italians as a precaution, did not train due to a right leg problem.

It is now unlikely that the Turkish playmaker will play against Manchester United in Los Blancos’ next summer friendly in Houston on July 26.

The 18-year-old will continue to work with the club’s staff in the gym, doing a mix of strength and cycling to gradually recover mobility.
