Ansu Fati’s house robbed as family members watched Barcelona match

Ansu Fati’s house was broken into and robbed while he was at Barcelona’s match against Espanyol on Saturday, according to La Vanguardia.

The 19-year-old Barça forward, who is currently injured, was robbed at his home in Sant Cugat del Vallès while he was at Camp Nou watching the Catalan derby, with some of his family members in the house at the time of the break-in.

Journalist Mayka Navarro reports in La Vanguardia that the thieves broke into his home and ransacked the house upstairs, while some of his family members were watching the match on TV in the area downstairs.

“At around ten o’clock at night, the 112 emergency room received a call for help after the young player’s relatives heard suspicious noises in the upper part of the house,” says the report.

When the police arrived at the house, the burglars had left. On Monday, Ansu Fati filed a complaint about the robbery. Money, jewellery and watches were taken from the player’s home.
