Atlético Madrid striker Álvaro Morata has just recently extended his contract with the club until 2026, however, he was faced with a huge contract proposal from Al Taawon.
It was only last week when the Spaniard signed a new agreement with Atlético, but Al Taawon are said to be offering Morata €50m per year, as per MD.
The Saudi Pro League have already welcomed former Real Madrid captain Karim Benzema to the league after he penned a deal with Al Ittihad. And even more reputable names could be joining him and Cristiano Ronaldo in the league shortly, as N’Golo Kante is on the verge of finalising his deal with Al-Ittihad.
Despite the mega offer sent Morata’s way, MD understands that the Spain international will prioritise his family’s stability first and foremost, and remain in the Spanish capital.
