AC Milan on the verge of signing Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah

AC Milan have been closing in on the signing of Yunus Musah for several weeks, and are finally close to sealing the deal, Relevo report.

There was, however, some dispute over the transfer of the American midfielder. Valencia wanted €25m to part ways with their young star, whilst Milan didn’t want to pay more than €20m.

Once Ante Rebić is off the books at Milan, they will be able to offer the amount asked for by Valencia, and the deal should be complete. Musah is said to have only wanted to join Milan, and is excited by the prospect of playing for one of Europe’s most successful clubs.

The two clubs have been stuck in negotiations for some time, but the versatile player is now nearing a move. The 20-year-old started 26 league games last season, and was a consistent performer in an under-performing Valencia side.

The former Arsenal academy played joined Los Che in 2019.
