Three members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona have reported back early for pre-season training in Catalunya’s capital.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who highlight Spanish trio Fermín López, Marc Bernal and Gerard Martín as the players in question.
Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad is of course currently spread out across the globe. Amid the summer break from club football, some have linked up with their countries for the World Cup, whilst others have been allowed some much-needed vacation time to recharge ahead of the new campaign.
As alluded to above, though, this has not stopped several Blaugrana stars from getting a head start on their teammates when it comes to preparations for 2026/27.
As per a report from MD:
‘Several first-team players have already begun training at the Ciutat Esportiva facilities. This includes Marc Bernal, Gerard Martín, and the injured Fermín.’
Barca’s official first day of pre-season training has been pencilled in for next Monday, July 13th.
