La Liga giants Real Madrid are preparing to bid farewell to yet another member of the club’s highly-regarded up-and-coming crop of young talent.
The subject of exits has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital of late.
This comes amid something of a clearout on the part of those behind the scenes at the Santiago Bernabéu.
All of Mario Martín, Juanmi Latasa, Nico Paz and Jorge Oreiro have, by way of either loan or permanent moves, departed Madrid over the course of the last couple of weeks.
And, as alluded to above, this list looks set to be added to once more over the coming days.
As per a report from Marca:
‘The next Castilla player to pack his bags will be Álvaro Rodríguez.’
Frontman Álvaro stood out as the top scorer for Real Madrid Castilla last season, exploits which piqued the attentions of a whole host of clubs across the Spanish football landscape.
And one such club, who currently remain anonymous, are now understood to be on the verge of tying up a deal for the 20-year-old.
Marca conclude that:
‘The departure of the young striker is imminent, as he is already finalising the details of his exit from Real Madrid.’
