FC Barcelona will announce the signing of Xavi Hernández as Barcelona’s new coach in the next few hours, according to AS.
The same report suggests that Xavi will travel to Barcelona this Saturday. Rafa Yuste, and Barca’s director of football, Mateu Alemany, have changed their flights, as they were originally returning to Spain on Friday, in order to be able to fly with Xavi on his return home.
If nothing changes in Xavi and Barcelona’s plans, Xavi is expected to finalise his departure from Al Sadd tonight, and Barcelona will make it official on Friday. On Saturday, they will travel together to Barcelona and next week he will be presented at Camp Nou, either on Tuesday or Wednesday, according to journalist Gerard Romero.
