Speaking in a press conference on Saturday, Barcelona manager Xavi was asked about the possible signing of Robert Lewandowski.
“He’s one of the options, of course, one of the possibilities. He wants to leave. There are negotiations, he has one year of his contract left, but it won’t be easy being Bayern. But yes it’s one of the options.”
Lewandowski’s preferred option is Barcelona. The Poland international’s contract at Bayern Munich expires in June 2023.
