According to German outlet Bild, Xabi Alonso will be the next Borussia Mönchengladbach head coach.
Alonso started his coaching career in Real Madrid’s academy. The former Spain international and Real Madrid player is currently in charge of Real Sociedad B and his contract at the Basque club expires this summer.
La Real were ready to offer the young coach a new 2-year deal with the LaLiga side with the possibility of one day moving into the role of first team coach, according to AS, however, reports in Germany suggest he is ready for a new adventure.
