Wolverhampton Wanderers are considering an €80m summer move for James Rodríguez from Real Madrid, according to Marca.

The Colombian playmaker has failed to make an impact under Zinedine Zidane this season and the 28-year-old could be swayed by the idea of playing in the Premier League. Wolves, who currently sit in sixth in the Premier League and are still in the Europa League are reportedly keen to spend €80m to sign the Colombia international.

James’ agent Jorge Mendes has a close relationship with the English club and was part of the deal to make Nuno Espírito Santo their head coach in 2017.
