Will Lamine Yamal be available for Barcelona vs Real Madrid?

An insight into the plans of the medical staff at La Liga giants Barcelona for the injured Lamine Yamal has been forthcoming online.

This comes amid confirmation that the 18-year-old should not be away from the pitch for long.

Wide-man Lamine’s name has of course taken its place centre stage in Catalunya’s capital once more across the day to date.

This comes after the youngster was dealt a fresh blow on the fitness front.

Fresh off his return to the pitch following a recent pubis injury, it was announced that Lamine has suffered a relapse, expected to spend the next two to three weeks on the sidelines as a result.

So, just when is Lamine likely to return to competitive action?

The attacker will be forced to sit out both on Sunday against Sevilla, and the upcoming international break with Spain.

And according to journalist Alfredo Martinez, he is also unlikely to be available for Barcelona’s post-break return against Girona on October 18th.

The current plan, in turn, is as follows:

‘Lamine Yamal should be rested and recovered to play on the 21st against Olympiakos in the Champions League. On Sunday the 26th, El Clásico will be played at the Bernabéu, and he won’t miss it.’
