Barcelona star Joan García is not expected to feature in the club’s final outing heading into the international break.
This comes with the Blaugrana eager not to take any chances with their new no.1.
Shot-stopper Joan has seen his name take its place centre stage in the chatter surrounding Barcelona across the day to date.
The 24-year-old, after undergoing knee surgery back in September, is now back in group training with the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad.
Two days out from an important trip to in-form Celta Vigo, it had in turn been suggested that Joan could be called upon by manager Hansi Flick.
If the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, however, then as much appears to remain altogether unlikely.
As per a report from Fabrizio Romano, the medical staff in Catalunya ‘doesn’t want to take any risks’ with the club’s summer signing.
For this reason, Joan is expected to be reintroduced to matchday duties on the far side of the November international break.
