Barcelona star Fermín López handed not one, but two of his jerseys over to Guadalajara players in the aftermath of the meeting between the sides on Tuesday.
As much came owing to a shared bond between the three.
Barcelona of course made the trip to minnows Guadalajara last night, to kick into gear the club’s Copa del Rey campaign.
When all was said and done, the Blaugrana emerged triumphant by two goals to nil, following a surprisingly hard-fought affair.
The aforementioned Fermín for his part featured from the off in the fixture, seeing out the full 90 minutes.
And as alluded to above, post-match, the Spanish international was involved in a heartwarming exchange.
After discovering that a pair of Guadalajara stars were native to his hometown of Huelva, Fermín provided both with his personal Barcelona shirts, before the trio came together to pose for a photo with Huelva’s flag:
