Barcelona sporting director Deco this week sat down for a one-on-one meeting with a member of the club’s summer recruitment list.
That’s according to El Chiringuito TV, who point towards Marcus Rashford as the player in question.
Frontman Rashford is for his part of course currently in the thick of efforts to integrate himself into Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad.
This comes after a long-running transfer saga ultimately culminated in the Englishman making the move to Catalunya’s capital for the season ahead.
Like fellow summer arrivals Joan García and Roony Bardghji, though, Rashford is as of this moment not technically permitted to take to the pitch in competitive action in Blaugrana colours.
As much comes with the 27-year-old yet to be registered with La Liga.
And it was precisely this topic which took its place centre stage in a round of talks between Deco and Rashford over the last 24 hours.
As per a report from El Chiringuito TV:
‘Meeting in Barcelona between Deco and Rashford to reassure the Englishman regarding his registration.’
