A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid came away with the Man of the Match award following the club’s latest outing.
The player in question? Jude Bellingham.
Real, of course, were back in action a short time ago, welcoming Sevilla to the Spanish capital for their final outing of 2025.
Midfielder Bellingham for his part started the matchup, entrusted from the off once more by boss Xabi Alonso.
And en route to an eventual 2-0 Blancos triumph, the England international opened the scoring amid a fine all-round display.
Whilst Kylian Mbappé stole the headlines in equalling Cristiano Ronaldo’s calendar year goalscoring record at Real Madrid, it was in turn Bellingham who beat out the competition to the official MVP award at the Bernabéu.
Real Madrid have now closed the gap on table-topping Barcelona to just a solitary point, ahead of the latter locking horns with 3rd-placed Villarreal on Sunday.
