Which 2 Barcelona players received zero minutes on the club’s pre-season tour?

Two members of the youth setup at La Liga giants Barcelona were left empty-handed in their search for first-team minutes on the club’s pre-season tour of the USA.

Barcelona, of course, are fresh off bringing a close to the club’s annual stateside tour.

After seeing out a trio of friendly fixtures against Manchester City, Real Madrid and AC Milan, the Blaugrana have since made their way back to Catalunya’s capital, for a final week of preparation ahead of the new season being kicked into gear.

A whole host of players, young and old, were afforded the chance to impress over the course of the two weeks, with the likes of Marc Bernal and Marc Casadó having made names for themselves in the process, too.

As alluded to above, however, of the crop of players to have been called upon by new Barca boss Hansi Flick for the trip, two, and only two, did not see the pitch for even a single minute.

As much has been confirmed by Mundo Deportivo, who highlight Alexis Olmedo and Diego Kochen as the pair in question.

For those not familiar with their names, Olmedo is a talented central defender, with Kochen a highly-regarded shot-stopper.

Both just 18 years of age, though, in reality, they have little reason to fret when it comes to their respective prospects in Catalunya moving forward.
