An insight into the plans of the brass at La Liga giants Real Madrid to at last announce the signing of Trent Alexander-Arnold has on Monday been provided.
And the news will no doubt be met with widespread excitement on the part of the Blancos fanbase.
The name of defender Alexander-Arnold has of course long proven a prominent one in the media headlines surrounding Real Madrid.
This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that, after coming to the decision not to renew his contract with Liverpool, the England international had agreed to the terms of a pre-contract at the Santiago Bernabéu.
And yet, weeks on, Alexander-Arnold’s signing is yet to be made official by Real themselves.
The club’s supporters, though, need not fret.
As per a report from Diario AS, the plan of Florentino Pérez and co. is to announce TAA’s arrival next week, following the conclusion of both the La Liga and Premier League seasons.
