Watch: Why Hansi Flick could be facing up to a multi-game ban after Barcelona vs Girona

Concern is beginning to spread behind the scenes at La Liga giants Barcelona that manager Hansi Flick could be hit with an imminent multi-game domestic ban.

This comes owing to the German’s behaviour late in the club’s latest outing.

Barcelona were of course back in action on Saturday evening, kicking their campaign back into gear in a league meeting with Catalan rivals Girona.

When all was said and done, the Blaugrana secured a much-needed return to winning ways, courtesy of a last-gasp Ronald Araújo winner.

Along the way, however, manager Hansi Flick allowed his protests, and celebrations, to get the better of him.

Flick was shown a red card as proceedings rolled into injury-time on Saturday, after the tactician made clear that he was not happy with the four minutes of injury time added on.

Then, after Araújo found the net, Flick approached the touchline to unveil an unsavoury gesture:

Already ruled out of next weekend’s showdown between Barcelona and Real Madrid, multiple sources in turn suggest that the former Bayern Munich boss could be suspended for multiple fixtures.
