Two up-and-coming members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona were on Tuesday subjected to the ‘tunnel of slaps’ during training.
The pair in question? Marc Bernal, and Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernández.
The names of youngsters Bernal and Dro have of course both proven prominent ones in the media chatter surrounding Barcelona over recent days.
In the case of the former, as much comes after he was rewarded with a new Blaugrana contract, through the summer of 2029.
17-year-old Dro, meanwhile, is fresh off taking to the pitch in Barca colours at senior level for the very first time, after being afforded a surprise start in the club’s La Liga meeting with Real Sociedad.
And as alluded to above, this morning, the duo’s recent achievements were celebrated by the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad.
Before training on Tuesday, Bernal and Dro were subjected to the ‘tunnel of slaps’ at the Ciutat Esportiva, an ongoing tradition in Catalunya’s capital:
