Real Madrid star Rodrygo has taken to social media, to reveal footage of the moment in which he suffered a torn ACL.
Frontman Rodrygo has of course taken his place centre stage in the headlines across Spain over the course of the day to date.
This comes after the Brazilian was dealt nothing short of a heartbreaking blow.
After suffering a knee injury en route to Real Madrid’s La Liga defeat to Getafe, Rodrygo was put through a round of medical tests at Valdebebas on Tuesday.
And the results confirmed the worst, that the 25-year-old has picked up ‘a torn anterior cruciate ligament and a torn lateral meniscus in his right leg’.
The attacker is therefore set for a prolonged incoming spell on the treatment table.
And as alluded to above, Rodrygo has himself since revealed the moment in which his setback was suffered.
In a post on his official social media platforms, the South American unveiled a lengthy message, accompanied by a video of his unfortunate blow:
