The latest addition to the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona was on Saturday spotted arriving in Catalunya’s capital ahead of penning terms with the club.
The player in question? Hamza Abdelkarim.
After weeks of rampant speculation, youngster Abdelkarim’s Barcelona switch was of course finally confirmed as set to go ahead earlier this week.
This came after the brass at the Camp Nou worked out the terms of a loan switch with their counterparts at Al Ahly.
And as alluded to above, on Saturday, Abdelkarim’s official unveiling as a Blaugrana player moved a significant step closer.
As revealed in footage released by journalist Carlos Monfort, the young goalscorer has touched down in Barcelona.
He was greeted at the airport by agent Christian Emile, ahead of travelling to Barca’s training base to undergo a round of medical tests.
An announcement regarding the transfer, in turn, is expected within the next 24 hours.
