Former Barcelona star Neymar Jr. enjoyed an outing to remember over the weekend.
This came as the 33-year-old got his goalscoring account up and running following his return to boyhood club Santos.
Wide-man Neymar of course made the move back to his home country of Brazil last month, penning a short-term deal with Santos through the summer.
The Seleção icon has spent the weeks since working his way back towards full fitness, showcasing flashes of the brilliance remaining in his twinkling boots.
And as alluded to above, on Sunday, such efforts culminated in Neymar’s first goal of his 2nd Santos stint.
En route to a 3-1 victory over Água Santa, the attacker opened the game’s scoring, inside the opening quarter of an hour.
Embarking on a trademark mazy run, Neymar won a spot-kick for the hosts, courtesy of a gorgeous piece of footwork inside the Água penalty area.
And, after dusting himself down, the ex-Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain standout stepped up to convert from 12 yards, footage of which can be seen below:
