Barcelona star Lamine Yamal was put through a customary ‘tunnel of slaps’ courtesy of his Spanish international teammates on Monday morning.
This came to celebrate the young winger’s latest birthday.
Lamine, despite having been plying his trade at the top level of football for what feels like half a decade now, turned 19 years of age on Monday, July 13th.
Away from his home of Barcelona at present whilst representing Spain at the World Cup, the attacker’s birthday was therefore celebrated by Luis de la Fuente’s squad earlier today.
La Roja are of course currently in the thick of preparations for a World Cup semi-final showdown with European rivals France on Tuesday night.
And allowing for a brief moment of lightheartedness amid an otherwise serious atmosphere, the aforementioned Lamine and teammate Víctor Muñoz were subjected to a tunnel of slaps in Dallas, to mark their respective 19th and 23rd birthdays.
