Barcelona star Joan García was on Friday the latest member of Hansi Flick’s squad introduced to a club tradition.
This came by way of a ‘tunnel of slaps’ for the goalkeeper in training.
Shot-stopper Joan has of course been sidelined since back in September, after being forced under the knife to resolve a knee injury.
Across this stretch, Barcelona have frequently struggled, with the Spaniard’s lightning reflexes, despite the solid form of Wojciech Szczęsny, having been sorely missed.
All of a Blaugrana persuasion will therefore no doubt be delighted with the latest footage stemming from Catalunya’s capital on Friday.
Joan, this morning, was put through a tunnel of slaps by his Barca teammates, as captured by a fan in attendance at the open training session at the Spotify Camp Nou:
This gesture comes after the summer arrival in Barcelona linked back up with the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad in group training.
It now remains to be seen if he is called up to face Celta Vigo on Sunday evening…
