A member of the backroom staff at La Liga champions Barcelona was caught on camera aiming an insult at Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. on Sunday.
This came in relation to the Brazilian international missing out on the Ballon d’Or award last year.
Wide-man Vinícius was of course at the heart of a heated sideline scuffle during yesterday’s El Clásico.
As tensions boiled over en route to a 2-1 Real Madrid triumph, a series of verbal and physical jibes were directed back and forth between the two sets of players, and staff.
And in the midst of as much, one particular member of Hansi Flick’s Barca setup felt it the right time to take aim at Vinícius.
As showcased in the footage below, the 25-year-old was provided with a timely reminder of his last-minute 2024 Ballon d’Or snub, by way of a ‘Golden Ball’ gesture on the touchline:
