Footage stemming from the aftermath of Barcelona’s meeting with Almería has turned heads across the club’s fanbase.
This comes after Barca vice president Rafa Yuste opted against confirming the future of head coach Xavi beyond the summer.
The subject of Xavi’s position on the bench in Catalunya’s capital has of course returned to the forefront of the headlines over the course of the last 24 hours.
Just weeks on from the Spaniard’s continuity for next season being confirmed, the Barca brass are understood to have been left infuriated by recent comments laid out by Xavi regarding both his squad, and the financial situation at the club.
Reports, in turn, have begun to mount in the media that the Blaugrana brass are giving fresh consideration to parting ways with their manager ahead of next season.
Upon making his departure from the Power Horse Stadium on Thursday night, it therefore came as little surprise when Barcelona vice president Rafa Yuste was asked to confirm whether Xavi’s position is still 100% secure.
After watching the Spaniard guide his side to a 2-0 victory over Almería, however, Yuste point-blank ignored the question, simply responding with:
“Good night”
