An insight into some of the finer details of the agreement between Barcelona and Real Betis for Vitor Roque has been forthcoming online.
For those who may have missed it, in the thick of Barcelona’s La Liga victory over Athletic Club on Saturday, some major news was forthcoming on the transfer front.
This came in the form of confirmation that Vitor Roque’s Barcelona exit is now a done deal.
As per transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the Blaugrana have agreed to allow the Brazilian frontman to join La Liga rivals Real Betis, on loan.
And, in the hours since, an insight into the financial details of the transfer has arrived, too.
The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, and points towards a complicated agreement as having been drawn up, as follows:
- Roque joins Real Betis for the next two seasons
- Betis boast an option to buy set at €25 million for 80% of the player’s rights
- Barcelona have the right to recall Roque early in the summer of 2025
- If Betis exercise their purchase option in 2026, Barca hold a buyback clause, set at €27.5 million
