Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. has sent a message the way of the club’s fanbase, ahead of their upcoming showdown with Manchester City.
This comes in the form of something of a rallying cry to all associated with Los Blancos.
Real Madrid are of course primed to turn focus back towards matters on the continent over the days ahead.
Fresh off a much-needed return to winning ways on the domestic front on Friday, Álvaro Arbeloa’s troops will welcome Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City to Spain’s capital on Wednesday night, for a Champions League Last-16 clash.
The aforementioned Vinícius is for his part expected to feature from the off in the fixture, ahead of a season-defining couple of months for the Brazilian and his teammates alike.
Speaking to the media this weekend, Vinícius therefore made use of the opportunity to send a message to Real Madrid’s supporters, as follows:
“We ask the fans to do what they always do, push us, make the Bernabéu a very difficult place for the opponent. With them, we become much stronger.”
