La Liga outfit Villarreal are closing on a permanent deal for Inter Milan star Tajon Buchanan.
That’s according to market insider Fabrizio Romano, who has on Friday provided an insight into the situation.
Wide-man Buchanan for his part made the move to La Cerámica on loan during the January transfer window, for the 2nd half of the campaign.
The Canadian international from here went on to rack up 13 La Liga appearances, chipping in with a goal and two assists along the way.
And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media late this week is anything to go by, then those behind the scenes at Villarreal were evidently sufficiently impressed with Buchanan’s exploits.
This comes amid confirmation on the part of journalist Fabrizio Romano that:
‘Villarreal are closing in on Tajon Buchanan permanent deal from Inter. €9m plus 20% sell-on clause for the Canadian wing back.’
