Villarreal face Manchester United in Europa League final

Villarreal have reached their first ever major final, beating Arsenal 2-1 on aggregate in the Europa League semi-final on Thursday night.

Unai Emery’s side will face Manchester United on May 26 in Gdańsk. Former Arsenal head coach Emery keeps his fine Europa League form intact and takes Villarreal to the final in his first season at the LaLiga club.

A 0-0 draw at the Emirates on Thursday was enough to take the Yellow Submarine into the 2020/21 Europa League final, after a 2-1 win at home last week.
