Valencia’s Marco Otero considers Marseille’s offer

Superdeporte previously reported that Marseille were considering hiring the director of the Valencia academy, Marco Otero.

According to Tribuna Deportiva, an offer has been made for Otero to become the new head of the French club’s youth academy.

Pablo Longoria, the former head of scouting at Valencia and now at Marseille, brought Otero to the Mestalla club in 2019.

He now wants the Galician coach to replace the departed Nasser Larguet and Jean-Claude Giuntini in the Marseille youth team.

French newspaper La Provence has reported that the negotiations between both parties are already at an advanced stage.

Otero’s arrival at Marseille could be announced this week.
