La Liga outfit Valencia have this week been afforded some altogether welcome news on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation of defensive stalwart Mouctar Diakhaby returning to the grass at the Paterna Sports City.
Stopper Diakhaby has for his part been sidelined for the last month, owing to a hamstring injury suffered en route to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Girona.
As much has culminated in the Guinea international sitting out each of Valencia’s last four fixtures across all competitions.
And Los Che’s woes have only continued during this time, to the tune of just one point secured from an available nine in La Liga.
Carlos Corberan and co, in turn, will no doubt be breathing a collective sigh of relief early this week.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘Mouctar Diakhaby has returned to the pitch at Valencia’s training ground a month after suffering a
hamstring injury.’
The 28-year-old was put through an individualised training session away from the rest of his teammates.
The hope is that Diakhaby will in turn have recovered in time to play his part against Real Betis this coming weekend.
