Valencia training confirms injury boost before Levante

La Liga outfit Valencia have on Wednesday received a timely boost on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation of Dimitri Foulquier completing his first full group training session in over a month.

Defender Foulquier has for his part not taken to the pitch in a competitive setting since all the way back in late September.

After suffering a knee injury, the 32-year-old was put through a round of conservative treatment which forced him to sit out a significant chunk of the season’s early weeks.

Following a month of individualised training, though, earlier today, Foulquier took a significant step back towards the pitch.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, on Wednesday, the Frenchman saw out the entirety of Valencia’s group training session alongside his teammates.

All going according to plan, he will in turn be given the medical green light to feature in Friday’s derby clash between Los Che and Levante.
