La Liga outfit Valencia have on Wednesday been afforded some welcome positive news on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Filip Ugrinic has at last returned to training alongside the rest of Los Che’s first-team squad.
Midfielder Ugrinic has for his part endured a difficult start to life in Spain, since his summer arrival at Valencia from Young Boys.
As much comes chiefly owing to a knee injury suffered all the way back in September, restricting the 26-year-old to just four La Liga appearances to date.
On Wednesday, though, Ugrinic took a significant step back towards the pitch.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, the Swiss international was given the green light to take partial part in group activities in training this morning.
All going according to plan, the hope is therefore that Ugrinic will be back available for selection to manager Carlos Corberán for Valencia’s derby clash with Levante on November 21st.
