Valencia star likely to have played his final game for the club

A member of the first-team ranks at La Liga outfit Valencia is understood to have taken to the pitch for the final time in the club’s colours.

The player in question? Selim Amallah.

Attacker Amallah for his part made the move to Valencia last summer, on a season-long loan from relegated Real Valladolid.

The Moroccan, however, has since struggled to make his mark, managing a grand total of less than 600 La Liga minutes for Los Che.

Amallah was forced to sit out training on Friday, owing to a calf injury.

And, as per a report from Mundo Deportivo, as much means that the Valencia faithful have seen the 27-year-old take to the pitch in their side’s famed white for the very last time.

Those in the boardroom at Mestalla have absolutely no intention of making Amallah’s signing a permanent one in the summer.

With the playmaker ruled out of Sunday’s meeting with Celta Vigo, his Los Che stint, for all intents and purposes, has therefore come to a close.
