The board at La Liga outfit Valencia have this week tied up an agreement to add to the club’s options in the middle of the park.
That’s according to market insider Matteo Moretto, who points towards Baptiste Santamaria as the player primed to take his talents to Mestalla.
Santamaria, for his part, is an experienced 30-year-old midfielder, who generally operates in a defensive role.
The former France youth international spent the 2nd half of last season out on loan away from parent club Stade Rennais, linking up with OGC Nice.
And as alluded to above, his performances along the way evidently did enough to turn the heads of those behind the scenes at Valencia.
After links between Los Che and Santamaria recently began to ramp up across the French and Spanish media alike, the aforementioned Matteo Moretto has on Wednesday confirmed:
‘Baptiste Santamaria to Valencia is closed’
