A pair of La Liga clubs have touched base with their counterparts at Portuguese outfit Sporting CP, regarding a potential January transfer.
This comes amid the understanding that both Valencia and Celta Vigo have set sights on the signature of Jeremiah St. Juste.
St. Juste, for his part, is a 29-year-old defender who chiefly lines out in a central role, but is also capable of taking to the pitch at full-back, and even in midfield.
The Dutchman has endured a difficult campaign in Lisbon to date, out of favour under the watch of Rui Borges.
And as much could yet give rise to a move to Spain for the 2nd half of the term.
This comes amid confirmation on the part of market insider Matteo Moretto that:
‘Valencia and Celta Vigo have inquired about Jeremiah St. Juste, a centre-back for Sporting CP.’
Should St. Juste ultimately take his talents to La Liga this month, the expectation is that the deal would come in the form of a loan, featuring an option to buy.
