La Liga outfit Valencia have this weekend tied up an agreement to add to the club’s attacking ranks.
This comes amid confirmation of Los Che having put in place a deal to sign Ryunosuke Sato from Japanese outfit FC Tokyo.
Sato, for his part, is a versatile 19-year-old attacker, capable of taking to the pitch in a whole host of positions in the final third – from left wing to right wing and even centre-forward.
The 19-year-old – long tipped for a bright future in his home country of Japan – has already been capped on five occasions at international level.
This season, Sato has racked up six goals and an assist in 19 league appearances for Tokyo.
And as alluded to above, such exploits have evidently begun to pique attentions in Europe, more specifically in Spain.
As per a report from Japanese journalist Kazu Kakiuchi, since backed by a number of further sources:
‘Ryunosuke Sato will officially sign with Valencia. Valencia will pay 4 million euros for the transfer. Sato will officially sign the contract after passing the medical examination in Valencia. He also received an offer from Feyenoord, but chose Valencia.’
