A fresh insight into the plans of the brass at La Liga giants Barcelona when it comes to the future of Marcus Rashford has come to the fore online.
And the news will no doubt be met with excitement on the part of those hopeful of the Englishman staying put.
Rashford of course put pen to paper on terms in Catalunya’s capital this past summer, as part of a season-long loan.
And for the most part, the 28-year-old has since made a positive impression, to the tune of seven goals and 11 assists across all competitions.
Despite as much, it has long been reported that the Barcelona board remain unsure about making his signing permanent.
But if the latest word stemming from the media on Friday is anything to go by, then Deco and co. appear to be increasingly leaning towards such a move.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘The Barça sporting department is more inclined to sign Rashford permanently than to not exercise his purchase option, set for next summer at 30 million euros.’
